Step 1: Open the Password Reset Page
On the AutoScribe login window, look at the left side of the white panel.
You will see the Username and Password fields near the top. Below them is the Login button.
Directly under the Login button, click Lost password?
This opens the password reset page.
Step 2: Enter Your Username
The reset page opens inside the same white AutoScribe window.
Near the upper-left area of the window, find the Username field under the Reset your password heading.
Enter your AutoScribe username in this field.
Then click Reset password directly below the username field.
Step 3: Confirm the Reset Request Was Sent
After you click Reset password, AutoScribe displays a confirmation message near the upper-left area of the white window:
An email will be sent if your account exists.
At this point, open the email inbox connected to your AutoScribe account.
Step 4: Open the Password Reset Email
In your inbox, look for an email from AutoScribe [email protected].
The subject line begins with Password reset.
Open the email and look in the message body for the long password reset link. In the screenshot below, the link appears as purple text directly beneath the sender information.
Click the link to open the page where you can create a new password.
Step 5: Create a New Password
After opening the link, AutoScribe displays the Enter new password page.
Near the upper-left area of the page, enter your new password in the New password field.
Your password must:
Contain at least 8 characters
Include at least 1 digit from 0 to 9
Include at least 1 uppercase letter
Include at least 1 lowercase letter
Include at least 1 special character such as
!,#,$, or%Be difficult to guess and different from obvious personal information or previous passwords
Next, move down to the New password confirmation field and enter the same password again.
Finally, click Reset password below the confirmation field.
Step 6: Return to Login
After the reset succeeds, AutoScribe displays Password reset complete near the upper-left area of the page.
Below that message, click Login.
Sign in using your username and the new password you just created.
Quick Tips
Check your spam or junk folder if the reset email does not appear in your inbox.
Make sure you enter your AutoScribe username in Step 2. The reset page asks for your username rather than your email address.
If a reset link no longer works, return to the login window and repeat the process to request a new email.
On a shared workstation, leave Remember me for 12 Hours unchecked when signing in.
Result
Your AutoScribe password has been reset. Return to the login page and sign in with your new password.
