Step 1 — Confirm you are set up

Ask your Customer Success Manager or Sales Representative for installation instructions.

Confirm installation was completed using the AutoScribe Installation Instructions.docx

If AutoScribe does not launch from the Profile toolbar, confirm with your system administrator or IT team that installation has been completed.

Step 2 — Launch AutoScribe in Profile

Open Profile.

Open the patient chart you want to document in.

Find the toolbar at the top of the screen.

Click the AI Voice button to open AutoScribe.

Step 3 — Log in

Enter your assigned username and password.

Click Login.

If this is your first sign in, follow the on screen instructions to change your password.

After your password is updated, use your new credentials for future sessions.

Step 4 — Start voice dictation

Click Start Listening.
Pause Encounter and End Encounter buttons will appear.
Speak clearly into your microphone and include the details you want in the note.
Use Pause Encounter if you need to pause recording.

Step 5 — Select a template

Open the template drop down menu.

Select the document type you want from the available templates.

AutoScribe applies formatting based on your selection.

Review and finalize your content.

Step 6 — Copy to clipboard

This stores the full note so it is ready to paste.

Quick Tips

  • Use Pause Encounter if you need to stop briefly and continue later.
