First sign-in requires logging in with the credentials emailed to you. You will then be instructed to update your password as well as set up two-factor authentication.
Step 1: You will need to login in the browser at https://app.autoscribe.ca/
Step 2: Enter your username and password that was sent to you in your first post-sign up email. You will be able to reset your password from within the application
Step 3: In your first sign-in, you’ll have to enable two-factor authentication. You can either use a token generator app (such as Google Authenticator) or email. In this case we’ve used email.
Step 4: Here you enter in the token number retrieved from your email
Step 5: You’ll be presented with backup tokens – please save these somewhere safe, in case there is an error with your two-factor authentication.
Trouble with Logging in?
If you are having trouble logging in here are some common issues that users run into.
Wrong username
Your AutoScribe username will be your first and last name without spaces and without any uppercase letters. Ex: baillieallen
It will never be an email or include special characters
Wrong password
If you forget your password don't worry you can request a new one by going to the "Lost password" link on the login page under the password field.
This will trigger a link to be sent to your email on file with AutoScribe where you can create a new password
Going to the wrong server web address
Most of our users will be on our Production server which can be accesses by going to app.autoscribe.ca
A small group will be on our Demo server. to access this go to demo-app.autoscribe.ca
If you have double checked all the above and are still not able to get in please email [email protected] for assistance.
